This is a unique opportunity for an individual with experience in the EV industry to build the services and support owners need to confidently go electric. This role requires a high-level of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess experience with EV service and repair, but also a high degree of enthusiasm for educating and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Educating prospective customers on Amber’s product offering
  • Assess risk of pre-existing conditions using technician knowledge and expertise
  • Using a consultative approach to influence customer purchase while also aiding buy-in to the mission, business model, and Amber brand
  • Providing outstanding service across various channels, including phone, email, chat, and in-person interactions
  • Summarize customer feedback based on direct experiences with potential customers
  • Managing relationships with a network of EV service providers
  • Acting as Amber’s brand ambassador in EV driver communities

The Right Stuff:

  • 2 - 5 years of work experience in the EV service industry
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
  • Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Strongly preferred: Previous work experience as EV service advisor, EV service manager, EV technician
  • Strongly preferred: Previous work experience in a customer-facing role in the EV industry
